One year celebration of Fong Ha
Feeling his spirit…
On Saturday, September 26, after our normal Berkeley class lead by Steve Blazewicz and Saber/Sword lead by David Coulter, Fong’s students held a socially distance picnic and ceremony to mark the one year anniversary of his moving to a high place.
About 30 old and newer practitioners showed up with masks and a reverence for life.
Uma brought a photo and wrapped treats for all. Kim Kime and Lucy Lewis got Peet’s Coffee and organized the event. We chanted 108 Om Mani Padme Hum’s. It was very nice.
We are blessed to have such a wonderful T’ai Chi/Taiji family/ohana. The redwood tree is very healthy and strong, and full of good Ch’i/Qi.
